Just some music to accompany you while reading

The idea of ’searching for fashion’ have more meanings. Is not especially because of the functionality of this website, but a deeper meaning.

A while ago I was thinking at those yogis who are practicing yoga close to our home or on our way to school, work or wherever we go in an ordinary day.
If we have a small circle of friends, maybe we feel a bit of anxiety to have a yogi among us. Not necessarily because of his/hers beliefs, but because of the way that a yogi spends the time. How is to invite him to a movie on a Friday evening and his answer to be something like “Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but Friday night I have to meditate over the ’seasonal migration of the birds’” ? Is hard to have a such friendship. Is true that in a real friendship is important to accept your friend as he/she is. But if you are looking to spend the time with such a person, unfortunately one of you have to be converted.

Anyway, the thing is that a group of friends cannot accept a yogi in the group (except the situation when all the members of the group are yogis ). They all would feel frustrated by this person and will not take too long until they will start avoid this group’s meetings.
But, if this group would go to India and would meet a yogi in the jungle, these guys will be very excited, that’s for sure. They will be excited to come back and tell to all they know how they did met a yogi. This will be like a visit to the zoo park.
I have nothing against about this, that is natural, but in some way all the people interested by fashion have something in common with these yogis without even knowing it.

A yoga practitioner have the ability to develop his range of feelings and mental experience much more than the common people. Not because they are gifted with some obscure and mystical power, but because they have the time and patience to do that.

I think that is in the human nature to explore as much feelings as possible and each person interested in fashion actually is interested in exploring new feelings and the fashion designers are trying with each show to bring new and unexplored ‘worlds’ to our minds. And we explore these ‘world’ just by changing our wardrobe in a while.

To demonstrate the similarity of what a yoga practitioner could meditate about, ‘ the seasonal migration of the birds’. Can you find this idea in clothes ? Personally, I imagine the winter shawls and the best example for these are in John Galliano’s Fall/Winter 2009-2010 show. In this show even the music confirms my supposition.
I like very much this show. I couldn’t wear a shawl because I’m a man, but I would love to see my wife wearing such clothes, so the work of a fashion designer is not only to convince the womens to wear his clothes, but also to suggest to the men what they could like.

So, from this idea, this site is titled ‘The Fashion Search Engine’ or the ‘The Sarch For Fashion’.

As for ‘two hats’, I will say it in the next article, so make sure to subscribe to the RSS feed and also leave any thoughts on this article’s subject below.
